At a certain point you say
to the woods, to the sea,
to the mountains,
the world,
Now I am ready.
Now I will stop and be wholly attentive.
You empty yourself and wait,
listening...

A group in Brisbane gathered for a second meeting in preparation for the AMASC World Congress in New Orleans in 2006. The Study Plan for Phase I invites us to pray and reflect upon the incredible gifts we have been given through our Sacred Heart education and tradition as a step in exploring the theme, "Collaboration for a Transformed World".

At out first meeting we used  a song of the Yagga Yagga women of Balgo and their painting, Tjibari
as a starting point for sharing our reflections on the values we want to pass on to the next generation. The song and the painting tell of adventure, discovery and celebration in the search for living water, an underground stream that would never dry up.

At our second meeting we discStuartholme Alumnaussed the value and importance of ritual in holding us together at times of crisis. We saw the Goals of Sacred Heart Education as lasting values that can guide us through life.
