Sr Margaret McKay's Golden Jubilee
It meant a great deal to me to have been present at the Golden
Jubilee of 1st Vows
of my cousin, Margaret McKay. Fifteen months earlier I had celebrated my own
Golden Jubilee in the Rose Bay chapel. I hope that both of us, in our different
ways,
bore witness to the happiness of religious life.
Margaret, having spent some years in Sydney, had many friends
at her Jubilee and a
considerable number of our family. As I live in a different country from all of
my family,
their presence at the Jubilee made it al real McKay reunion.
