At a certain point you say
to the woods, to the sea,
to the mountains,
the world,
Now I am ready.
Now I will stop and be wholly attentive.
You empty yourself and wait,
listening...

On January 10th, 2007, Sr.Betty Moriarty reached the 70th anniversary of her first vows, made in the chapel at Rose Bay. The celebration of Betty’s jubilee was held on the following Sunday, Jan. 14th, which enabled RSCJ visitors from the Sydney area and a few friends to attend. Among these was Betty’s niece, Margot Pyne, who had come down from Bundaberg to be with her aunt for the occasion.

Fr. Adrian Meaney M.S.C. celebrated the Mass and gave a very appreciative homily. Later we all enjoyed a special morning tea in our Karlaminda (newly air-conditioned) dining room.
