Jesus’ metaphors, stories and actions show how acutely
he observed “all creatures great and small”
and how respectful he was of their place in the world of humans. He even used
some of them to throw
light on his own being – bread for our nourishment; wine for our joy and our
strengthening. Call to
mind some of his parables which centre on nature, and let him open your eyes
again……
